How this series is produced
Qatar Watch reads the Qatari media picture as a positioning instrument rather than as reporting. The state press, Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera English are tracked separately, because they address different audiences and the division of labor between them is itself the finding.
The recurring question is where Doha places itself: as mediator, as a Gulf state reassessing its own security, or as the party that decides who carries the blame when an agreement stalls. Each edition closes with confidence-tagged key judgments and a short list of indicators to watch.
