Endorsing Hitler by Name: Iran's State Media Drops Its Line Between Judaism and Zionism

On October 6, the eve of the third anniversary of October 7, the clerical daily Jomhouri-ye Eslami ran an unsigned editorial that opens with an invented Hitler speech and endorses his view of the Jews by name. It sits within a wider October pattern that includes an IRGC-affiliated campaign against the name Khazar for the Caspian, a circulating Holocaust-denial video and front pages casting Azerbaijan as a Zionist project. We assess with high confidence that the regime's claimed distinction between Judaism and Zionism is collapsing in its own media, though no central directive has been identified.
